Hi NJ Brothers & Sisters,

I wanted you to be aware of this upcoming ride through DE and Cape May, including the ferry. We need some more VTX's on this trip! Everyone is welcome.

<<The next scheduled ride will be on Sat. July 9. We will be riding down Rte 9 in Delaware to the Cape May ferry launch in Lewes, Delaware. After a nice lunch in Lewes (compliments of Planer Honda) we will be taking the 12:45PM ferry across the bay to Cape May, NJ. The ferry costs $23.00 per motorcycle. We will then ride back up through New Jersey crossing back into Delaware on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. We should return to the dealership around 4:30PM.

In order for us to meet the 12:45 ferry we will be meeting at the ChesDel
diner on Rte 13 south of Wilmington with our departure scheduled for 8:00AM. If you want to have breakfast or coffee at the diner before we leave please plan to arrive early enough so that we can depart by 8:00AM. The diner can be reached by taking either Rte 1 south off of I-95 and taking the very first exit at the base of the new bridge across the C&D canal and following the signs to Rte 13 south. The diner is about one mile down Rte 13 south on the left hand side. The other way is to just take Rte 13 south out of Wilmington, crossing over the St.Georges bridge and following the road to the diner. There are no gas stations on Rte 9 so plan to show up with as close to a full tank of gas as possible. There will be gas stops once we get back on Rte 1 south of Dover. There will be more details and a trip map available at the next meeting.>>

It's good to see my NJ brothers doing the VTX thing up there. I'm located in south Fla. these days and ride with the XRiders here in Ft. Lauderdale and we're constantly on the road doing something. Ride On and stay safe Sharkie here in the Sunshine state,,
.
From the Cherry Hill area.

Thanks for your replay, Dave. That post was from last year. The local HRCA planned that trip. I got called into work, and ended up not going. The group that went had a great time, though.
