Planning a run from Panama City to Pensacola Saturday morning in case anyone is interested in joining...

Any recommendations for chow in P'cola appreciated.

I'll be at the Hoot or I would meet up with ya. Too many great places to eat, you will have to narrow it down a bit as to what you want in a resturant. Bar food, hole in a wall, on the island, seafood, BBQ, fine dining, biker type (also a bar), or just pretty good and cheap? I can even direct you to a place that has free beer and wine to go with the great food cause they don't have a liq. lic. Gotta love that place. Mike

How about some fresh seafood (not fried) - that'll please my wife. Maybe a nice place to chill for a while, before we ride back.

She's into all the artsy stuff, so if there is one in that type of area. It's a good thing that her saddlebags are small.

Let me turn you on to one of favorite resturants. It is called Bon Appitte and is located inside The Bay Beach Inn in Gulf Breeze. You will find it at the foot of The 3 Mile Bridge on Hwy 98 between Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. It is 10 to 20 dollar meals that might be considered fine dining. It has a beautiful view of Pensacola Bay and faces the sunset with both inside and outside views. You may have to wait for a table during prime time and with out reservations but you can walk around the pool area and look at the waterfront if more than a few minute wait is required. This is the place that has complimentry beer and wine. You are also welcome to bring your own selection. Go for one of the non-fried fish selections.

Glad you injoyed it. Next time come via North of I-10 to find some really nice back roads thru the Blackwater National Forrest. The traffic around Navaree and Ft. Walton in the surmmer can be bad.
