As expected, my new Bridgestone 200 rear tire was delivered to my deck while we were speeding to Tok.
Holy buckets, that's a FAT rear tire!!! I find it hard to believe this thing will fit back there. Only parts I'm waiting on now are the new flange bearings. I probably can get the bike up on a stand and get the wheels off now to get the new rubber mounted. Worst case I can keep using my old bearings if they're in good shape, if they remain back ordered forever.
This is going to look pretty sweet stuffed back there! My first step towards 240. Someday.

Thanks Kent!
You'd better keep that used spare handy for situations like this in the future. What with all the bikers coming through the state and all!
I have progressive springs to get stuffed in there as well. Have you done those before? I need to get my hands on a fork tool.

I'll be borrowing my brother in laws motorcycle jack, and the garage it sits in. :) I don't think I'm going to tackle the springs at the same time, first I need to fabricate or buy or borrow a tool.
I'm not sure what kind of jack it is, but I do know he's taken the wheels off so it could slide under his Harley, and it has a safety bar so I can leave the bike on there until I get the new tires mounted.
Before I get into that project, I have to prep my cargo trailer so my parents can take it with them next weekend. Too much to do!

The fork springs are pretty easy to do. You don't even have to pull the front end off. I made up a fork tool for about 10 bucks. Well less the old socket I had laying around. 8)
