I had time to properly prep a few highlights tonight.

This picture really bugs me. Ha ha. Between North Pole and Salcha on the Richardson Highway. (That's a mosquito sculpture.)

You'd think we spent hours positioning the cameras and the bikes so the pipeline lined up just right. Just north of Delta Junction on the Richardson Highway.

This is really supposed to be a lovely picture of a falcon, but these people were standing in the way. On the Glenn highway between Tok and Glennallen.

This is what a VTX ride in Alaska is really like. See that spot in the background? We stopped there for gas. Then we rode ALL the way down the road to this next pretty spot. Stop. Take off the helmets setup the cameras for pictures. Drive 20 minutes. Repeat. Hardcore bikers.

It took me 20+ minutes in Photoshop to tune up this picture, the contrast range is rather severe. No, that's not Denali. Taken on the Glenn highway between Tok and Glennallen.

Moose Moose! I said, I'm looking for some MOOSE! Like this. On the Glenn highway between Glennallen and Palmer.

My son, pretending he doesn't know how to play pool, just before he innocently bet George $20 on a game. That's my boy! That's Alaskarider's place.

For future reference, try not to get stray body parts between George and a bucket of Kind Crab fresh off the BBQ. Those scissors are sharp! George is polishing off some crab to make room for the tenderloin. Which was blocking the apple pie.

A big shout out to all of you Alaska riders. :D Man, those pictures bring back some sweet memories. Spent last part of '81 and first part of '82 in King Salmon Alaska. Was stationed there while in the Air Force. Absolutely THE BEST memories I have of the service. Really miss Alaska. I envy your luck at seeing all of that beautiful scenery, :) but remember the long winters and short summers :( . You guys make us lower 48 riders look like wimps when considering how the weather will affect our rides.
