Anybody else gonna try and make it? Might have to meet up at the BP or something beforehand so we could find each other then ride in together. Weatherdork is calling for ISO thunderstorms, but dave shady likes the rain anyhoo.

I am going with one other rider. Only been to J&P one time. Sounds like a good time at this thing.

Planning on making it. A mixed group from my area is coming down. At least one other VTX with us.

We made it up there about 12:30.....no way to find anybody unless they were wearing a BIG VTX sign on their head. Had a great time, great weather and great ride home via Maquoketa, Belleview, Savanah.
Anybody do the dyno drag?

We didn't make it. We went up to Rochester to visit a friend in the hospital instead. They put her back together and she might be riding before winter.

I was the first responding officer, ended up writing the report. She wasn't a real close friend or anything, but you hate to see it with anyone, and it's even worse when you walk up and know them. :(
But I was able to be there for her, having been through it myself. I was able to keep her more calm and call her husband.
She will be all right, just be a while before she's "back to normal". Should be pretty good anyway.
Everyone ride safe!! A lot of accidents around here lately.
