Have they got your bike all put together yet?

the handlebars are still back ordered and it looks like another 2 weeks at best. Thats one reason I bought the 1500 vulcan i knew iwould miss half the summer of riding if I waited. I might get up there this summer again.

Are you getting all OEM replacement parts? Or will you be switching to aftermarket parts for any of the repairs along the way?

How extensive was the paint damage? Will they repaint the whole bike? Did you get the seam filled while they were at it?

So many questions, so little time! It was great to get to meet all your extended family, thanks for hosting us all last weekend. Lots of fun just watching all the coming and going in your busy house.

The bike will be ready in about a week and a half. I haven't put anything extra on except a tach a a lightbar, cruise control and a proton 4 air intake and passenger floorboards. I am going to go with the 200 avon tire when the tires wear out. How did that tire workout on the trip back? I also put some neon lights and a some engine guard foot pegs and a switch box that fits on the brake reservor to control the lightbar, neon lights and heated grips.
