What is your opinions for Us riders here in Louisiana to have the Big X with Flames logo on Leather vests for when we ride? Or do you think that is too much ? I see the Canadian X riders wear theirs prowdly and was just curious to your opinions. :orac:

Gumbo,

Forced to move from NOLA after that witch flooded me out of Lakeview & a job. Moved to So. Florida, but would be honored to ride with a LA Patch. Let me know where and how much!

Twin 1300,
Check out the one we've been riding under for the last two years.

There's a woman in California named "Patches" who does these for us.
If you want one, I think I have one large (10" dia.) patch left. The one pictured above is a 6" patch. The Eagle is my choice for me.

You need to order the "name rocker" and the "chapter chevron" from her. They don't cost that much.

These are done by a guy in California.

If you get an order of 25 or more there $28.00 a piece. So far Cali., Fla. and Ala that I know of have this patch.

To all Louisiana "X" Riders:
Regarding Louisiana "X" Riders Patches:

The costs are $20 for the small (6.5"), $22 for the medium (8.0"), and $25 for the large (10.0"). Our Patches are beautiful, with metallic gold thread on a black background; good details, and nice workmanship.

You can buy "Louisiana "X" Riders Patches" from
"Patches," one at a time. You DO NOT have to "invest" in 25 patches to get just one patch.

http://www.threadsinternational.com/index.htm

Visit her site and look around. Check out the prices for "Name Rockers" ($11) and "Chapter Chevrons" ($13).

Just order the patch, pay for it, and she will send it.

Is there a Denham Springs Chapter or one closer than NO? How do we if we want to join NO chapter? Can we start one here and how...what are the rules? :pepper1:

Twin,

There is no formal chapter. We each wear our preferene. Some show "NorthShore", CoonAss has "New Orleans" and me personally have "Metairie" you just take it from where you are. We most all ride the VTX but a couple even were the Patch that have 1100's and the like. As always the important thing is that you enjoy the ride.

Anytime you see an " X" stop and tell em hi. We have a few that are in your area. Denham, Walker, Gonzales and the like. Just keep an eye out on this Louisiana Thread and you will see.

You can check out this site also fcr handles and homebases.

Give a shout out on the state board for others in your area. You wont meet a better bunch.

Also I have some of these coming if your interested. $35.00 apiece

Kelly,
All condos are sold, but not completed. One closes on 2/24 and the other on 3/3. Working like crazy to complete units to be able to close and pay the bank some money.

Lets ride as soon as we can.

Accidently hahaha  Just glad to ride and to ride with people. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of you guys this spring. Let me know about any rides and I will be glad to go. I will look for the patches, so look for mine, gonna wear it with pride. C U

Mine drowned in the flood. Was told that if I take the patches off and wash them by hand they can be sewn on to another vest. May give it a try. I think I only wore it twice.

RJR

I've got 2 of the large patches. I had one on a jacket and one on a vest. I've recently swapped one out for a different vtx patch. If you would like the one I removed (its like brand new) you are welcome to it. Just let me know.

I've been stuck on night shift since before Christmas. Not sure when I'll get off. I guess I'll have to take a vacation day pretty soon so I can get to the pit. :D :D

Patches makes the "Chapter Chevrons," the "Name Rockers," and the Louisiana "X" Rider patches. Visit her site http://www.threadsinternational.com/index.htm and take a look around the site. She can "do it all."
