Delmarva Bike Week

I just book a room for Delmarva Bike Week at the Corfort Suites. I would love to try to hook up with some of you guys from MD. Let me know if anyone's going?

I'll be there,i only live about 45 minutes from there.I was out from work last year with a toe removal,but healed up just in time to go.I went all four days.I may go friday afternoon,but will be there all day saturday.If anyone wants to email me,we can hook up.

Im leaving late tommorrow and will be there all week. Smitty McGees in Fenwick Island De. is having a bike show on Wed. from 4-9. They usally have some nice bikes and the food is GREAT. If you go down Rt1 turn on , I think its either, 24 or 26

I'm going down on friday after work for a few hours,but saturday,i'll be there from mourning til evening.If anyone wants to hook up,here's my cell.443-521-4825.I may be there with a few x'ers from delaware and a couple of other friends.So don't be shy about calling,if i don't answer,it's cause the bikes are to loud,to hear my phone.But,i check it all the time,i will get back with you.Usually the first place i head to hangout is the harley dealership.They usually have a band there and other stuff,plus it's near the race track,were everything goes on.Plus i go there to show the harly people i'm not intimedated by them,and i have every right to be there too.Like someone else said,it would be cool to have a showing of vtx's there.

Man, are you hard on Harley guys. I goto Mikes H-D in New Castle Del. all the time with my X and they show me nothing but respect and admire my VTX. Even last year at OC H-D the harley guys were all over my X and my Roadstar. 95% are really nice guys. We are all fellow bikers :D

Back on the fourth of july i passed 3 harleys going home,they pass a few cars and chased me down.One of them got so close to my bike,i saw how fast he was going on his speedo,and he suerved at me few times,trying to intimidate me.I took off doing 90,and they continued to chase me.I made my bare off turn quicky enough so they could'nt react.As i did i saw them tap the breaks.
Last week,after riding with a buddy that owns a harley,it happened again.I was riding home,here comes four of them behind me.I thought cool,a few other bikes to ride with.Well,one sped up and cut infront,then another.I was right behind them,the next came up and cut me off to get behind them.The fourth hung back cause he saw i stayed tight to them.But i thought to myself,they think they own the the road,and their better than me cause they own a harley.So,i thought,i'm not taking this crap no more.I switched my lane,hit 90,got in front,and stayed in front,they kept trying to pass me,but i kept up my speed so they could'nt.Some of them,but not all have some sort of bug up their ass,they think less of you if you own a metric,i've just had enough.I think the same way,it's two wheels.They are the ones that start the bull.

I think everyone needs to watch this hurricane just off the coast of the Carolina's. It's not looking too good for Bike Week. Lets just hope & pray it goes out further to the East!!

I've had some comments go back & forth from Harley Owners and believe it or not alot of them really like my bike (just not the name of the maker). Now out towards Delaware and a good par of MD you can have problems with some of the Motorcycle gangs. Right now there is a little bit of a war going on with the Hells Angels trying to get a foot hold in the area, when this area has typically been run by the Pegans. Just be careful when these guys come at you aggressively, there have been a couple of cases where the Pegans & Hells Angels are shooting each other. So far everyone that had been shot has been a member of one or the other gangs. Typically they only approach you if there are a couple of them together. So obviously they are not the "typical biker" out riding for fun.

HMMM, I guess I wouldnt like Harley guys, if I were you, either. I have never run across that problem. Im alittle differant. I work out all the time and weigh 250 (Im alittle TOO heavy, too much beer) I dont intimidate easy, I have a BAD temper, grew up in a 3rd class city outside of Philadelphia in a run down neighborhood, and had to learn how to fight and fight dirty at a young age or you would get your a$$ kicked on a daily basis. I would have chased them down and beat their a$$. I know doing this one day will get me hurt but at the moment you really dont think about it. If they had gang colors on I would just back off and let them go. I know alot of Pagans and they dont do that sort of thing. I make fun of the Harley guys to their face about how much they spend on their bikes compared to mine. And that they only bought it because it says Harley Davidson on it. I call them followers. Them I start telling them my Harley jokes.

:D JUST REMIND THE HARLEY GUY THAT 90 PERCENT OF A VTX IS MADE, FORGED... RIGHT IN OHIO ... COMPARED TO 52 PERCENT OF HARLEY DAVIDSON. I ALWAYS REMIND THE GUYS WHO GET SHI**Y THAT I RIDE A MOTORCYCLE BECAUSE I LIKE TO RIDE NOT BECAUSE OF THE IMAGE IT PORTRAYS... BESIDES GO TO ANY HARLEY DEALER AND LOOK AT ALL THE FOREIGN CARS IN THE PARKINGLOT. :D :D BY THE WAY... ANYONE HEARD WHAT HD GAVE TO HURRICANE RELIEF YET... ???
