Another newbie

After a year and a half of looking at the VTX and a neighbor backing into my bike, I pick up the new '03 1800C tomorrow. I'll have a couple of days to get used to it, then it goes back to the dealer for installation of accessories before I leave for the Wolf's Head Rally.
I'm in Madison and haven't seen an orange VTX on the roads around here. Hope to get to know some WI and IL X riders.

I test drove an orange 1800 last year at Englehart, but it wasn't the C model. Post some pics when you get it back.

Thanks for the welcome, looking forward to meeting other X riders. I put 113 miles on today and will be adding more tomorrow so I can have an oil change before vacation.

Haven't been to bike night at the Lube yet, it's on the other side of town. Our AMA chapter usually has a booth set up, but in a few weeks I start 8 weeks of Wed. night classes, so I'd better get to the Lube soon! They're giving away 2 or 3 bikes this season, ride and register at any bike night.
