View Full Version : Eagle One nanowax / Good Tip.
I have used a lot of differet waxes over the years on many differant rides --from the cheap to the super costly (wax that is). Eagle One NanoWax is the best I have ever used. You don't get that white powder residue so common with other waxes. The shine is killer and it's easy to apply and remove. I got mine at Advance Auto for around 10 buck's. I don't normally do this for a product but this one has impressed me. It even help's with swirl's and spider web's. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great Wax at a great Price. Clint

Thanks for the tip Clint. WalMart carries some Eagle One brand products and if
they carry it, may be less expensive than Advance Auto. Think I'll take a look.

A fiend of mine that does paint/body, etc. won't use anything else. Just turned me on to it the other day. He demonstrated on a black Duece and it was very impressive. He said it did more for black than anything he has ever used. I was impressed!

I owned/operated a detail shop for years. I have tried EVERY product out there. My current favorites are Zymol,Klasse, and Griot's Garage Best of Show Wax. They work well on any color I try them on. To get rid of most spider webs in the paint,ALWAYS start with a clean surface..you would not believe how many people I have seen just start rubbing their car or motorcycle with whatever rag they can find!!! Make sure the paint is cool to the touch. NEVER spray cold water on hot paint as it will tend to cause spider web scratches if you do. Use a very mild solution to wash the vehicle. Use a 100% cotton towel or rag or a soft sponge. Wash mitt's trap dirt..I hate em. Use 100% cotton towels or Microfiber to dry it with. I also use an electric leaf blower to help dry off the vehicle.. The less you have to rub the paint the less spider webs you will have.On paint that has not been taken care of well, you need to start with a light polish. Polish creates a shine and takes care of the spider webs. Wax seals the shine in. Again, use only 100% cotton or microfiber. NEVER use anything that say's POLYESTER!! www.griotsgarage.com (http://www.griotsgarage.com) has some nice towels and rags to do a super job of polishing and waxing. Their Best of Show wax is great,as is all their products I have tried.
I'll give the towel's a try. I use cotton hand towel's to wash. I remove the wax and buff with microfiber. Allway's in the shade. Thank's for the tip's :)

I have tried several waxes/polishes and Zaino Brother's is by far the best I have used. Very easy to apply and remove and shines for months and months.
