Wrench help!........

Sooo what is this "foot mod" i am hearing of?.... Also have put on my HK 3" big's, rejetted with 190 main, needle at 3rd notch, and new spring.. also have KN filter... there seems to be a little flat spot in throttle right off the line letting clutch out as it winds up.... other than that runs FAST!.. dont think it is running lean... maybe even rich.. just dont know what to look for.... What adjustments are on that carb Big_erb? Air/fuel I assume. anything else?

rejetted with 190 main screw, needle at 3rd notch, and new spring, air fuel screw at 2 1/2... bike runs better when hot, just seems to hesitate, or bog, or maybe even shutter coming out of the hole... best way i can describe... not bad just seems to almost drop rpm before band kicks in leaving from 1st..

Hey Big_ Erb,

You Might need to Adjust your air back one qaurter turn or so. Sounds like to much air, If not ..tomuc fuel.

went to a carb shop.. He said that all fuel off idle runs through the main jet, and that the needle depth is what regulates amount of fuel through jet.. He stated if it is running good w/o then move the needle up a notch to give more fuel.... maybe even two....

hey big erb when u start ur bike do u get a lil black smoke from the
pipe? if so u might wanna drop down one notch. sound like if
ur boggin off the line u might me a lil rich.

have not heard of the foot mod u speak of, but then again
i dont follow the 1300 tech that close.
