Great Ride Today!

Hooked up with dave shady in Clinton about 9:30. Headed North into Wisconsin for some great roads then crossed at Prairie for some more great roads in Iowa......and a couple not-so-great....sorry dave. Then down to Dubuque where we hit Sindts and checked out some bikes, then on down through Belleview and back to Clinton. Clocked about 335 miles from here and had a great day. Can't wait to do it again with a couple more bikes.

Your name came up a couple times today. (you wouldn't believe what shady said about ya, but I promised him I wouldn't say anything, so I won't)..hehehehe..... Can't wait til we can all hook up sometime. I'm out for this Sat-Sun but I should be open for several Sundays after that.

Then there was the Close encounters of the day

I had a bird miss the leg, Rabbit come 6" from skewerin on my fork spikes and a van pull out on us.

Auggie got a flock of vultures a van and a CLOSE encounter with a deer that crossed as we doged it and then came back at him...

NOT TO MENTION THE NOON SIREN thatr about put him out of his saddle...

I think denise has backed out on me for the 16th already thats alot of miles for her. figure 350 out and back plus the ride once we get there. So ill be on my own its lookin.....

I figure if we want to make it to the 10am ride need to leave clinton local around 7am ish....

you can always stay here on fri night if ya want to. have to share a futon with my labrador and he SNORES but its dry and good food and drink.
