Just thought I would give a shout to everyone. I just purchased my 1800C last week and I just added the 2-1 HD Krome Sideburners & love em. Anyway I have been riding my fathers 1800 since Feb and rode it all the way down to Myrtle Beach and fell in love with her and had to purchase my own. I'm looking forward to conversing with you guys & gals in the future. I've been checking out this site for the last couple months and looks like there are a great bunch of guys here looking out for one another and I'm glad to be apart of that.

Hey Rosco,
Glad to hear about your new ride. I have the sideburners on mine also and love them. I've had my X since they came out and have a LOT done to it. I live in Essex not far from you. I will keep you informed about rides and get togethers we have. Please do the same. There is a bunch of us going on the USO ride on the 24th of September out of Crofton Honda. Send me your email and I'll send you a flyer. Hope to see you soon on the rode or at a get together. See Ya!!

Thanks for the Reply Rocco, PM sent. I would definately like to get together for the USO ride, that ride is right after the Del Marva bike week if I remember right. I plan on going down there for a couple of days.
Another quick question: I can tell that my bike needs to breath more and I'm looking at putting another air box on along with Desmogging her. Now if I end up putting a power commander on as well later down the road would I have to open back up the desmog? I know they have the other technical board for those types of questions, but thought I would try to ask on here first. Thanks.

Hey Rosco,
First: Welcome aboard. You'll enjoy riding with us. We have a small group in the area (eastern Balto Co) that likes to "hook up" every now and then.
Desmog: Yea, it's easy, cheap, and gets rid of some of that stupid worthless plunbing on your motor. Helps get rid of "some" of the decel popping as well. Part of the desmog process is to remove some of the stuff on the back of your stock airbox. By "desmogging" you will have opened up your airbox significantly.
Power commander: I would highly recomend getting one. My bike is alot more fun to ride since I put one on. Plus, I still get 40+ MPG on the highway. The PC is only as good as the map you put in it. Find the right map (there's plenty to choose from), experiment with it, and you'll be glad you did. More power and no decel popping. Totally worth it.
"Damn right it aint no Harley" OK. I can see you'll fit right in. We can skip the initiation phase.
Also, beware of the wild Irishman! (Just seeing if you're paying attention Billy O.)

Hey thanks for the info and invite Genghis Ron I'm definately looking forward to hooking up with you guys and letting the X's run wild. Maybe we'll have to make a few passes by the Harley Shops in the area.
But you have me a little concerned about this wild Billorien. I'll have to keep my eye on him. I think he is paying attention Genghis Ron.
I rode up to Gettysburg on Sat along with my father who has an 03 1800 C and We definately got some good looks. Let me know when the next ride is and I'll do what I can to hook up with everyone.

I know exactly where your at BigK, I might just have to swing by there one day and give you a shout. I don't think I have ever been at the Big Falls Inn, is that off of Route 7 towards WhiteMarsh? I'll be keeping an eye out for you. Also are those V&H pipes on your ride? My father is looking at hooking up with some other riders to compare if he wants HD Krome Sideburners or the V&H.
Keep an eye out for those other idiots and ride safe.

Big Falls is the one on Rt.7. Great pit beef. The pipes are Hard Krome 3". Loud and sweet. I'll catch up to you I'm sure.
