Hot Air Balloon Festival July 15-17

Anyone planning to attend the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Foley Alabama this weekend? There is a motorcycle and hotrod rally also.

I cant, I have my kids this weekend, and wont be able to ride except local. Ask BER_1800 (aka:Goose). He might go.

The wife and I rode over Saturday. It was a scorcher out there but we still had a great time. The beer tent stayed busy. There was lots of good music and that evening about 35 five balloons flew in a nd landed. Then after dark there was a Glow Show. Tethered balloons lighting off their burners. All in all it was a good time. I'll go again next year for sure.

By the way the poker run pot was over $600. Unfortunately we didn't win.
