I forgot wife has to work til noon but we can leave in am if you want and just swing by and pick her up after 12. or just meet somewhere after noon,your call.

Scratch that.......I'll head outa here around 10:00 and be at J&P around 11:00 and gawk at stuff for a while. You can either meet me there or I'll just run up to your place and we can head out from there. Maybe we can head toward Dubuque and ride the ridge road back down after a stop and rest at New Diggins.

Maybe we might see you somewhere along the way. We (3 of us) are headed out of Cedar Rapids at 7:30 am tomorrow and plan on doing the following:



HWY 151 to Cascade
Y13 N. to C63 at Holy Cross
C63 to C9Y
*C9Y N. to HWY 52 at Millville
**HWY 52 N. to Guttenberg
X56 N. to McGreggor/Marquette (I don't think that X56 goes all the way there. Basically it it the
Great River Road from C9Y to Marquette)

Once we get to Prarie Du Chein we can vote on which route to take. Briefly:
18 to C to 133 to Boscobel to E to 131 to Gays Mills (Which has a cool apple orchard to stop at).
From there we can figure out return route.
OR
18 to 60 to 131 to Steuben to E to 27 to 171 to Gays Mills.

* At Millville we can get on the ferry to cross the river. Remember 2 miles of gravel.
** Depending on the time, Dwight knows a good place to eat here. Might be a bit early.
*** Just before McGreggor is Pikes Peak. A gook overlook to stop at.

TheDave, Sounds like a nice ride. I've done that same route many times but havent gone towards Gays Mills, I usually go towards Lansing. If it wasnt for me to be back to get the wife at 12 I would join ya. Sounds like Auggie and I will be in the area also today.

Well ,Had another great ride with Auggie. My wife Kim and I met Auggies wife and put on alittle over 200 miles today in sw wisconsin,NE Iowa and NW Illinios. Can't wait to get the group bigger and ride again.

It was a great ride. Sue had a good time and loved the road buckle jumping. Next time, we'll have to get Dave Cedar Rapids, Dave Monticello, and Dave Clinton all together in the same place........

Can't wait to do it again. I'm open next Sunday if anybody gets anything going.
