Fire fighters Charity Poker Run / Aug place to meet

2nd Annual Firefighters charity Poker Run to benefit the Mid Atlantic Burn Camp for Kids. This will be Saturday Aug 27th 2005. First bike out at 10:00am, last out 12:00 noon. Departs from Eagle Motorcycles - Glen Burnie Md Rts 10 and 648 - B&A blvd. Park and party at Larry's tavern Elvaton Road off Jumpers Hole. Entry fee $20.00 per bike. This was great fun last year a beautiful ride through southeren AA county. Might not be a bad place for another meet and greet for fellow VTX'rs out there. Hope to meet some of you from the board. I will try to help if there are any questions.

YES!!! It is still on. Meeting place is at Eagle cycle (RT 10 and 648 ). Fist bike out is at 10:00 am. I am meeting some friemds for breakfast at the Double T diner at 10:00am (across from Marley Station mall), might be a good meeting place, then we could ride up together.

Ride fee is $20, and there is a party afterwards.

If so I would be interested in meeting somewhere and riding to this event. I am thinking somewhere in the Essex, Middle River , Rosedale or Whitemarsh area. Its looking like Saturday is going to be the beter of the weekend. Any ideas , just post a time and place. I will check back later this evening.

Not looking good at the moment. Don't think I'm going to risk the rain. I'll try for the next one.

Well the fair weather crowd missed out. Light shower in Annapolis, but no problems. Rode with a group of sport bikes, the X handled every bit as well, in fact they had problems keeping up on St Stephens Church Rd (maybe because there tires were a little bare from burnouts) Food was good, a small but fun crowd.

Next time it will be sunny, that way we can all have fun :lol:

I admit it, I'm a fair weather rider. I got too much chrome to clean if I get caught in a rain storm.

That is the understatement. Since yours is clean you can help me clean mine. I think I'll be busy for awhile :)
