Id love to visit, beautiful part of the country, and we got a deal on it I hear.
How long can you ride in Alaska before you have to store the bike.
Here in Charleston, SC my personal rule is I ride in anything above 50 deg, but isnt that summer time for you all? ;)

I ride as long as there isn't ice on the road. Generally late April till early October, bust that is here in the Banna belt (Anchorage). To stay within your limits mid May to mid September. Summers are 70's and sometimes low 80's. Hope this helps.

If all you ride is over 50 you may miss a few weeks of the riding season here. Everybody here gets out as soon as the snow melts out of their driveways. 8)

Hey guy's, how's the weather been up there? Haven't been home in a good while and was just wondering. I'm from Anchorage, used to live over by the diamond mall before I joined the Navy, but I grew up over by the Sears mall off of Northern Lights Blvd. Eagle st. to be exact and went to West high school. gonna have to miss my 20 year reunion this year, Operational commitment you know, Navy needs come first and so does the safety of our country. just to let you know how long I've been away, I joined the Navy back in 87, been home 5 times since then. was thinking of coming up with the family after I retire in 17 months. I'm in florida now, Jacksonville that is. Love the weather here too.
