Okay Guys, Mike aka (xtrmx) had to go out of town this weekend so we're going to try for a ride to Marrianna again next weekend, Aug. 6th. So lets get all the Honey Do's done this week and try to make the ride a good one. I know there's around 17 of us that posted on a previous post, so come on out and show your support for the group. We will make this a fun and safe ride for everyone if we get a good turn out. I promise no triple digits, unless you just want to bust away. I look forward to meeting some of those that I've only corresponded with on this site. So come on out. :D I made the ride over that way this saturday and meet one of the guys from Enterprise, we had a good day, it was nice and cool with the overcast sky. :D

Alright, let's try this again!!! I have been braggin' about some of the roads around here for some time and I finally get to show them off, huh? I kinda need to know what type of ride we want to make this. I read about Kenny's promise to leave the triple digits to the sprinters that want to. I got a warning ticket yesterday, so I agree with the notion. The trooper was great... I think he figured I was going to sprint on him when he yellow/blue lighted me. Another trooper arrived within minutes, so they figured they had a runner, I am sure!!! He had me dead to rights... wide open road... on highway 20 between 231 and Blountstown. I just put on the old turn signal and down shifted to the side of the road. He warned me for 73 in a 60.... but he and I both knew it was wayyyyyy faster than that. Anyway, do we want a trip to beaches? Lunch somewhere?? Ride 'til the rain or the po-lice get us??? Back roads to Mexico Beach are fun... as are some of the county roads around the town. Just let me know so I can plan just a bit.

Hey guys - if you don't mind posting the route you settle on (and approximate time), I wouldn't mind trying to meet up with you somewhere along the way.
Thx...
Any of you guys ride the Perdido Key area?

I'm not sure what everyone is wanting to do, I say meet in K-Mart Parking lot, Niceville at around 7:30 or 8:00 in the am. Then take 20 all the way to 231 to meet the XTRMX there. From there it up to our host XTRMX to show us around and maybe take us somewhere for lunch. Any suggestions on an alternitive route could be considered.

Okay, VTXKeeper posted the departure for the Niceville/Crestview crew. Early is good, to try to keep the rain away. I will meet anyone riding with us at the BP station on the southwest side of the intersection of US 231 and Hwy 20 at 9:00am. We will head north on 231 to Fl-167 then 274 then 69 north with a quick pit stop at Blondie's in Grand Ridge (corner of US-90 and Fl-69) for fuel, etc. That should be around 10:00am. We will then continue north-ish into the woods, using some good back roads until we hit Fl-2. We'll head back west on Fl-2 toward Graceville, passing through Campbellton (US-231 and Fl-2) at about 11:00am. There is a REAL challenging set of twisties just west of Campbellton we are gonna run through at least once, and then to Graceville where we will pick up US-77 south toward Chipley. In Chipley, just a couple miles north of I-10 on US-77 is a "mom and pop" Mexican restaurant (maybe "mama y papa" ?) I am recommending for a lunch stop. The weather should really start to be a factor by noon, if not already, and we can all head in our various directions from there. It will be a rather short ride, but it should be fun.

Hey Gents. I will try to make it up to the BP on US 231 and Hwy 20 by 9:00am. I have a morning commitment, but I'll try to finish that up in time to make the rendezvous (don't wait for me though).
I hope this weather pattern we've been stuck in all week finally breaks. It is raining here (PC) again this morning :x

Hey guys, I think the rain is going to ruin the planned ride for tomorrow. I have been looking at the forecast maps and it looks like rain (around 60%) from dawn to dusk. Let me know what you want to do. Kenny, it looks like you have the longest haul, so you make the call.

Let's remember one thing guys, we live in Florida. If you don't like the weather just wait a few minute and it can change. Check it in the morning. Lord willing the sun will shine, and we can ride :!: :D

Hey morecarl, we'll probably hang out a little bit there at the BP for a cup of coffee or something. That will give you a little more time to get there.

Unless it changes dramatically in the next hour or so, I think I'm going to sit this one out.
