New to this board and just wanted to say hello to everyone. Been reading all the posts for about 4 months. Lots of good info on here. My husband and I live on the Eastern shore between Easton and Denton. I have a red 1300 and my husband has a 1500 Kawasaki. If anyone would like some info on roads or good rides in this area, I will try to help you. There aren't too many roads close by that we haven't been on. Thanks and stay safe! Redhot

Hey BIGK, I also have 3"HK and that top pipe hits my leg too often. Do you know off any pipe guards or something else that would prevent a burn. I have tried to order something from the dealer but he hasn't come up with anything. My son may try to construct something, hes a metal fabricator. Also. what kind of seat is that and do you have handlebar risers? thanks

Hillsboro huh? Which of the three counties do you live in  I used to live in Denton / Burrsville (the low end suburb of Denton) and I know the roads well. Wide and winding especially up north towards Goldsboro. Might be heading that way Sunday, if I do maybe we can hookup.
Larry: with yet another super fast red 1300c

We are in Caroline County. We rode to Chestertown recently...Betterton, Rockhall and thats got some really nice twisty roads. Also if you go through St Micheals to Tilghman Island they have a Sunday seafood buffet at Harrisons on Tilghman...well worth the ride and great roads. We are going to try and go to Chincotegue before the summers done, that should be a good ride also.

I just make sure my leg doesn't touch. It's a great wake up call when you forget. The seat is stock, but the backrest is from: http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/image ... 64_200.jpg (http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/images/cwi_04-164_200.jpg). And no risers yet!!!!
