How's the summer going?????

We sure do miss Alaska and wish we could come back up on the VTX(s)!!!!!

Someone should really start a GoldWing / VTX rental place up there.... it's gotta go big!!!!! The BMW was okay, but it felt like a mini-bike at times.

Andrea and I got another bike trip in last week. We rode to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks (only 1759 miles r/t). I put a few pictures up on the general board.

The moose are more exciting in Alaska, but the buffalo sure gave us our money's worth..... you guys should come down here next summer! :wink:

I thought of you all last night when I looked at the clock at 8:20 PM last night and it was already dark out, here in Denver. How's your summer going? What time is it getting dark these days, up there?

Things have been going just fine up here. We located a few more vtx riders and the weather has been pretty good except for a couple of weeks of rain.
The sun goes down about 10 and it gets dark about 11. You just might see me next year. I'm thinking of riding out to the honda hoot Just for kicks. If I do I will stop by and to say hello. Maybe I can talk some other folks to come along. I enjoyed you folks visit and hope you come back.

Keep us posted on your ride plans for next year. I ran into some bikers from Texas the other day. For a fee of $1,500 each they had bikes shipped from Texas to Seattle, and then shipped from Anchorage back to Texas. Seems like a pretty fair price for two way shipping to me. I didn't ask who did the shipping though.
