I haven't had any response on the main board but was wondering you think if the back tire was not suppoted enough during a shock change I could have messed something up in the tranny or drive shaft? I had the biked jacked more than I thought and when I took the shocks off the rear whell dropped to the blocks.. I got a clunking sound when I shift and it's not the normal cluck.. almost sounds like a loose linkage but who knows... went back out late last night and shift with out the engine on and didn't hear it.. I think it may only be when there is pressure from the engine running

It's possible that it could be the U joint.
How far did it fall down? Was it in gear?
I have taken the shocks off and carefully let the swingarm drop ( tranny in neutral) so I could get at the axle bolt.....but it was only a few inches.

I think it could be it, I can't remember if it was in gear or not. The wheel hung lower than I thought when I took both shocks off. They didn't call me today so I'm going to call them. If it is my fault then I'll do what I need to do to make it right, just want to make sure it's right again. There is no problem driving it but I just hate that shift clank.. liked my old clunk better
