The local fire dept. is having its second annual Poker Run Sept. 25th, starting @ 8am. Staging starts ~7:15a or so.

Last year was a good time, I think there were about 60 or so bikes.

We went around Cheshire and Sullivan Counties, ~250 miles total.

I think it was $10 or $15 for the rider, $5 for passenger, $5 for the hand, got a shirt, and a cookout with prizes at the VFW afterwards.

I was the only X last year  , if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll keep you updated as I get more details.

Extended forecast is looking good for the 25th!

If anyone wants to roll in early, I live across the street from the staging area and you are welcome to warm up with some coffee.

Turn on Frost St. off Rte.101 (next to Doody's Market) at the flashing yellow light.

I am the first driveway on the left, the staging area is the parking lot between Frost and Ling St. (behind the Fire Station).

Nate, we're up for the run, not too familar as to where the fire dept. is so if you could give direction, that would be fantastic. Weather looks good probably get some of the fall colors along the way, see you on Sunday.

The fire station is right on Rte. 101/Main St. If you are coming in from the Keene side, it will be on your right as you come into Marlborough.

Check the Google Map link I posted. The fire station is the red marker, my place is the green marker. Pierce Road isn't really a road, it cuts through the parking lot.

They have a sign out in front about the Poker Run. Go past it about 1/2 a block, just after Doody's Market (Getty Station), take that turn (Frost St.) at the flashing yellow light. The staging area will be in the large parking lot behind Doody's/Fire Station on your right. My driveway is on the left, across from the staging area.

Gas can be had at Doody's(no pay at pump) or a little farther East up 101, just past Rte. 124 at the Shell Station/Marlborough Country Convenience Store(several pumps with pay at pump).

See you Sunday!
