Hello everyone, I,ve got an '05 VTX 1300 in black and have been riding it for a couple of months after a ten year gap from biking - the bike is incredible - nice and torquie! However I would like to give the bike more grunt in the noise department. Whilst there seems to be plenty of options for US riders (V&H, Hardkrome, Roadhouse, Cobra...) I,m not sure whats available here in the UK(I,m in North Wales). Has anyone any ideas on the best way to give my bike the sound I'm after? Also, would the bike be legal - whats the latest on the rumour of the Govt crackdown on noise emissions? Thanks.

Just buy your pipes from the USA its cheaper even when you pay the import tax and vat +postage .Dont get then shipped by air as its megga dear . UPS does good rates and its only around £35 for a set of pipes .
I f you do a search on this forum you will find some folks have recorded the sound of different pipes.
Germany is another place to look for pipes but prices on a par with the uk.
Dont forget to look at e-bay.com and not .co.uk as loads of companys sell pipes on there .
The cheapest place i have found for pipes in the uk is a company called chopperkit they advertise in Back Street Heros MAG.
