Added the Kury hypercharger to my 1800R, runs great but the flappers don't open up that far. Is there an adjustment or in it normal. I also have Cobra Drags w/o baffles does this make a difference?

Dont take offense,BUT.......Did you follow directions exactly? Or did you
not somehow plug the right vac lines? If you did everything according to instructions, they should work properly.Mine do. You could pm Crush*
I think he did something to enhance his flutter.

Its done right beotch. LOL, but I have heard of guys needing to lube there flappers. :shock: , but we cant take a look at it this week end if ya want.

Maybe it don't work right because it just is the wrong color. :?

I won't be around this weekend. Wife and I decided to go south for Labor Day. It works but it dosn't seem like it is opening that far when I give it he!!. but it runs like a scared deer. it seems like it is only opening about a quarter inch, but when it is shut off it opens all the way. Duane said there is an adjustment on the back of it.

Simpleman,
On the top and bottom of the hypercharger there are 2 assemblies that hold the charger together(in addition to the 3 bolts that screw into the front). These are also what hold the butterfly valve assembly in place. In the hole of one of them (mine was in the bottom) there is a spring. Remove it and spray a little lube in the hole. Reassemble and you should have more flutter.

Also,
I was told not to adjust the back of it. That only adjust how closed they go not flutter. It could cause the valves not to open all the way when the bike is turned off as well so I was told.

I have the new hyper and was told it does not matter what the flaps are doing as the whole thing is just for looks anyway. :pepper1:

Ok everyone, we do know were just havin fun right? We are family here, and I wouldnt want it any other way, and I will ride with your blurple bikes just the same as the perfect black ones, in fact I would ride with any color, or make of bike or person. Ride safe guys, and ladys.

what would my BLACK 1300 gain if I skipped the hyper chargers and turbo charged it. a serious thought as a winter project, im looking around at the possibilitys of what will and wont work on my engine-----ace
