View Full Version : Info needed on China, ME.
I'm moving into the area soon and will be looking for a good bike shop to do business with. Since I'll be having some custom work done I'd like to find one shop that can both change my tire as well as cut my front fender. Anybody have any referrences? Thanks.

I grew up in Portland, moved near china and all i want to say is GOOD LUCK. When I was there for a little bit, the latest and greatest was a gas station.
I hope they got something for you.
I don't know, but they got all the roads paved recently and I found a Harly/Honda dealership (of all things) on Rt. 3 not far from my house. When I went in to have a looksee I was given a info on a shop in Fairfield that does some custom work. So things seem to be looking up in that dept.
I've lived in more remote areas than this, and I think it might be seeing a growth spirt. At least I have more dining choices than just Burger King and Arby's like in the farm country I just moved out of. NE has to be one of the top culinary areas of the country. And I do like to eat good food.

There is a speed shop on college ave in waterville 20-30 minutes away, a harley/honda dealer 10 minutes away, and a place called farrins in augusta they seem to be pretty good and thats 5 more minutes from the harlewy /honda dealer. I do not have any info on the harley/honda dealer but it looks like a nice place. I have never heard any bad stories....good luck.
