I just wanted to touch base with other x riders about what I think I heard that The Round UP off 595 is having something special for all us redneck bike riders on Friday. Is there any plans for say a get together at Rick Case and then cruise over? Somebody post something about this if it's a happening.

I'm interested. Post up something when and if you find out anything. Time?
Short distance, i.e., wife would come.

Hey Recon,

Why would you let that put you off? Think I'll head out there anyway. Most "real" Harley riders could care less what you ride as long as you ride. I have not spoken with one lately who doesn't express the thought that the X is a hell of a machine. The rubs usually have their head up their ass anyway.

Problem is there are not alot of "REAL" harley riders on Friday nights at a harley giveaway night. I do ride with alot of guys that could care less but about 5 years ago I witnessed a so called real harley rider that actually kicked over a friends honda gold wing and after 10 stiches and a police report, I try and stay clear of situations that only get my ass in trouble. As a ex recon marine I tend not to walk away when I should and I take up for the little guy too often.

Enough said about it.. If you go and it lives up to a good time, post it and let us know how them country girls treat ya at the round up. As soon as the turkey season is over and fish quit bitin at big-o I will start riding on weekends closer to home(pembroke Pines) and hopefully we x-riders can get together a big weekend ride before the stormy season starts. I got a place in Okeechobee City for weekends and maybe a round the lake ride can be put together with a cookout up north my way.

Mike,
The wife and I are still in for the Roundup like we talked about in the other thread. Lefty's in the tower shoppes for a bite to eat, See who's at the Good Will trailer and then off for a little honky tonkin'. We would peobably be going there anyway so I won't let it being called a "harley" event keep me away.
