Been looking at the VTXOA board for some time and didn't realize the was a section for fellow Xr's on here from Arkansas. I am here in Hot Springs Village. Has anyone attended the HRCA at John's Honda in Hot Springs? Have wanted to attend but have been out of town every time they have a meeting.
Just wanted to stop by for a meet and greet.[/quote]

Hello, Have not attended a HRCA Event in Hot Springs. Here in Russellvile the local Honda dealer made an attempt to establish a chapter devoted to street bikes but was unsuccessful. I'll have to make it down to Hot Springs though...excellent ride from Russellville.
Might be an excellent location for a Arkansas VTX ride (2nd annual), just a suggestion
With the races going and the weather getting better it might be good!
Glad you found us...Im here in da Springs as well....Hope you read my post about Wednesday Night Blues jam at Shapiros in downtown Hot Springs..Lot of fun.....Drop me a line if you feel the need to ride on Thursdays....peace out....kevin
I had earlier posted that it would be fun to do the ride in Eureka Springs but the more I think about it, I guess Hot Springs would actually be the best since it is located pretty much equally in the middle of the State..From here we could ride out 270 west to Mena and the Talamena parkway...We could do a ride from one end of Hwy 7 to the other....We could all do an iron butt ride for the patch doing the 4 corners of the state...We could visit our southern friends down in Crossett...We could do some gambling at Shreveport of do the Helena Bike and Blues and thing....We could do Memphis in May....Remember, I am a desk clerk at two Lake Hotels here in Hot Springs so perhaps I could set up something there for us.....What did ya'll do last year...How many days etc?????Im ready to help in any way I can...peace out

Kdog,
Glad to receive you message. with the work I do it is hard for me to plan just about anything. My work depends on the weather. When there is a storm I usually have 24hrs to get where I need to be and that could be anywhere in the world. Might want to check with Vicki ath John's. I know that they are realloy treying hard to get something off the ground. Will keep checking back to see whats happening.
