Anyone Familiar with Gilford NH?

I'm heading up to a concert tomorrow at Meadowbrook and I would like to take the bike if the weather looks good. The concert will probably end at 11PM so I'll probably have to get a hotel room. Are there any decently priced hotels there? I'll be heading from NY and either going Any recommendations? Thanks

Try B. Mae Denny's resort. It's about 1/2 mile from Meadowbrook. You could also look into The Margate. That would be about 3-5 miles away and is on the water. Both might be a little pricey, but you are going after peak season. There are a bunch of little places on the road from the Margate towards the Weirs Beach area. These are probably less expensive and rooms should be plentiful.

If you are looking for a chain hotel/motel, the only two I can think of is Red Roof Inn, on 106 in Louden. Stay on rte 3/11 into Laconia and turn left onto 106, it is down near Concord.
The other is a Days inn, right off 93, exit 22. Neither is close to Meadowbrook, but those are the only two I can think of that are Chain hotel/motels that are close by.
