Hi VTX'ers! I bought an '04 magenta metallic 1800c in May! It was brand new right in the crate!! I've never been happier with a purchase in my life!! The boys at Harry's treated me right, and the bike is (in my humble opinion) the finest cruiser on the road today!! I wanted a Valkyrie right up until the VTX was introduced a few years back...when I saw it , I knew that was the bike for me! I haven't done any customizing as of yet...I may just leave the engine and pipes the way they are. I think I might put a 2-up Switchblade windshield on next year..(that way I can pop it off and on) and perhaps a sissy bar. Oh well enough for now! Have fun out there..get all the riding in you can before the cold months!!! J!

Harry's in PI? Nice place...I lived in that city many years ago. Did they have a decent selection of VTXs?

They had a bit of a hard time getting one for me actually!! I was going to buy one just like yours...('03 red) but they sold it on me! But they did track down the '04 magenta for me! They have been getting a few more in, but they don't have a lot on hand...they had a Rune that sat there for almost 2 years!! :roll: Have a Good One!! J!

I really don't care for Harry's. At all actually... I bought my bike in Bangor because I couldn't stand them, still can't. But hey, we are all intitled to our own opinions.
