Hello everyone, This is Susan, Bruce's wife. I just wanted to let you all know that I really enjoyed meeting you. Can't wait to go for a long ride. I know that we are planning on going to the beach pretty soon again. There is a glass blowing shop over there that just opened for the season that we want to get back and see. My cousin Vinny and his wife took us there last month but they were still closed, so we went to the pottery barn that was on the same road. Really nice stuff. Anyway, Hope that we will get the chance real soon to ride with you all again.
Take care,
Susan 8)

Hi Susan,
It was nice to meet you on Saturday. Perhaps we (you and Bruce, Warden and Wife, myself and Minda, or anyone else) can do a leisurely couples ride to the beach and do some tourist type activities in the future.
I look forward to seeing you and Bruce again. Ride Safe!!!

I'm sure Susan (because I am) would be more than happy to do a couples ride to the coast. Who is the planner among the married couples?

Count me in on this too. I'm sure my wife would like to come. If she doesn't, maybe my mistress or girlfriend would tag along.
Just kidding. We talked about this very thing on Sunday and I think it would be an excellent additional ride.

Hi all, it's autumn here.... (I often use Jerry's logon). Anyhow, we'd really like to do a ride like that, too.
As Bruce said, We would love to go on a ride like this. I am all for the leisurely style of riding. Don't like to be in a hurry when we are riding. I like to enjoy the scenery and cant do that very well when you are flying down the road at 70 to 80 miles an hour. Bruce and I went on a little ride up towards Silver Falls, out Drift Creek Rd. Saw some deer and the most beautiful hills with lush green fields. So, when will this ride be? I know that this weekend is out and so is the next one but how would April 10th be? Weather permitting that is. You know, this is Oregon! Best laid plans in Oregon don't go very far.
Hope it will work out, can't wait to go for another ride to the beach. :mcrider:

It was nice to meet you to Susan. And I think a couples ride would be fun although the only day that works for Lisa would be Sundays as that is her day off. Of course Big Bob might let me borrow one of his Girlfriends for a Saturday ride, only because of the bird incident though. ( the bird was looking for him) Hope to see everyone soon take care and keep me posted..........Warden

I guess, that I made the initial suggestion for the couples ride. Help!!! I really did not have anything too specific in mind. Other than riding down to the beach, perhaps stopping at the casino and doing a little shopping at the outlet mall and/or the main drag in Lincoln City. Perhaps a visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport? And most definitely a walk on the beach.
I am definitely open to suggestions as to activities and routes. April 10th tentatively works for Minda and I. The rest of April, and May 1st, is pretty much occupied for us. The next possible weekend for us would be May 8th.
I am open to suggestions for activites??
Susan,
Minda and I live in Sublimity. The Silver Falls ride is nice. Let us know when you and Bruce are out this way again. We would love to ride with you!
Bruce,
Did I see you post a message regarding the purchase of a stock seat? I think Warden may have a stock seat available.
Jeff,
We will definitely keep you and Minda informed, the next time that we take a ride out that way. April 10th is still good for us as long as the weather holds out. I am all for the Lincoln City Mall or Newport Aquarium and since we are in the area and would be on the way to Newport we could stop at the glass blowing place and check it out. Would anyone mind if my cousin and his wife came with us? They don't have a vtx but they do own a honda.
Warden,
I would love to meet your wife, but my Sunday's are kind of busy right now. I will take some time in the summer for a Sunday ride with Bruce, and we will be sure to let you know. Hopefully we can plan for a ride in the summer when the weather is more predictable. Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't allow for much "spur of the moment" type things.
I know that we are looking forward to getting together again and riding with you all.

We just took this in our back yard last weekend. Two of Bruce's Babies!
I'm all for another ride to the coast, but count me out for the Aquarium. I just took our two daughters over there for a spring break trip and I was not impressed. Since they don't have Keiko over there I kind of expected them to have something impressive for the $$price$$... nope, nada, nothin'. Most everything you see in there you can go right down to the tide pools and see for free. Besides that they're the ones who want to shut down the beaches to "everyone" to save a bird. So if you want to see "sea" creatures you have to go to there facility and pay to see them. Whoa didn't mean to get so intense  . We'll go on the ride but skip the aquarium.

I have to agree with PI here, our budget is very slim so I don't mind looking for free (going into shops and things like that) but the aquarium is too expensive. A good walk on the beach, maybe fly a kite, and like Susan said there's a little glass blowing shop on a little road just a little north of Salishan that we would like to see. Last time we were there it was closed for the season but the sign said it was reopening sometime in March. Anyway I'm up for just about anything that isn't too expensive.
