You guys always seem to pull this when Im going out of town!! :D Work is sending me to Puerto Rico next week from Sunday through Wednesday and then Thursday night I have to go in for a sleep apnea test, Friday I leave for Helen :-) but Im riding, so thats all good :-)

That sounds great to me. Winder is a great central location for those coming from Northeast and East side of the metro area. My weekends are typically busy but knowing well in advance makes it easier to coordinate the time.

I always see a few bikes gathering at that one restaurant/bar in the downtown area just north of the tracks and where Hwy 211 and Hwy 81/11 meet. The name escapes me right now. Maybe someone from Winder could jump on this post and make some suggestions.

The one in town is called Loco's. There is also a Jeffery's sports bar not far from the 85 and 211. Just some ideas of where to meet. If anyone else has a spot feel free to let us know. There are some VTX riders out ther that don't know of this web site. Try and let them know of it if you can.

Hey Ed, I think we should try to get together at Hans in Helen some saturday. It's a nice ride and great atmosphere. I am game for winder tho, I'll check backk and see what happens and when.

Ok now we have some places to meet, now when is it a good day and time for everyone. For me M,W and Friday evenings are open after 5:30 and all weekends are open. Anytime Tuesdays and Thursdays. Looks like nice weather next week.

If we're talking about this week, any day except monday. Thursday I can bring the wife. I'm usualy off Fri, Sat & Sun and every other Thursday. Locos in winder suits me fine.

Next Thursday at Loco's is good for me .I'll be there between 5:30 6. Wife will be there also. I would like to make the run to Helen too,Saturday or Sunday. If the weather is good.

Still on for Thursday @ Loco's. Wonder if it is too late for those thinking about going to the Whistle Stop in Conyers to meet up with us in Winder. We can maybe return the favor and meet everyone there another evening.

Same here. Had a good time meeting you all. Nice of you to show up Hans. When we got home wife said she didn't think you where ready to leave yet. I thought everyone said they were going. I would have stayed longer. Plus Shirley pointed out that she didn't finish her drink. MM I'll let you know about going to Helen, it still looks like Saturday. Ga Prickster you have to talk the wife into putting the passenger seat back on :D

I'm chiming in as well, great greet and meet, good conversation with all and good groceries. The Shirley's appeared to have a good time. Look forward to the next time. Was a nice surprise from Hans&Feet stopping by to join us.

Hope more X'ers can get together and join the fun. Seeing others' bikes sure was a treat. You guys did well.
