wind and the rain

love to ride. trying to get all the rideing in i can before the snow. today the wife and i jumped on the machine (yes the vtx is THE Machine) and started a short ride. stopped for fuel and a treat and guess what, it started to blow and then the rain came. i dont like rain and don't really care for the wind. We got caught in both. I must be getting old but I really like calm sunny days , any thoughts on this? bill

I am in the same boat, tring to get in as much ridding as I can before the snow flies, but I can do without the rain. Like you said .... must come from getting older, ( wiser?). Pray for SUNNY weather!
