Hey everyone, I am likely going to be in London November 9th or 10th and stay through the 16th. My wife will be there on the 7th and stay for 2 weeks fro business. I will be joining her for the weekend and durring the weekdays while she's at work I will be doing some sightseeing myself. I am interested in some WWII museums and memorials, like Normandy(I understand that is in France but we will try to get over there for the weekend) I would also maybe like to meet a few of my UK VTX brothers for a pint or more preferrable to me, a nice scotch or 2. If anyone has some suggestions on what I should see or where we could go, and where or if I can meet some of you that would be great. 8)

Well , I guess Normandy is out and a "Driving Experience" at Silverstone is now in. We will be going to Silverstone on Friday the 11th or Saturday the 12th fro this. Wasn't Silverstone an airfield in WWII? I asked the gentleman at Silverstone if my Arai Quantum helmet would be OK for me to wear he told me if it passed an inspection it would. I have a thing about wearing headgear that hundreds of others have worn. Should I bring my helmet or not? 8)

:oops: Only just read this..sorry.. Too late now but im only 40 miles from Silverstone ..could have met up for a jar or 2.. Hope you enjoyed the trip

Thanks, I did just get home today. I did have a good trip, Silverstone was out this trip, we went up to Edinburgh for the weekend and drank many, many glasses of whiskey and bottled some up to bring home with me. I could very well be back in the next year, as my wife goes there once every few months for work. 8)
