Just thought I'd start a thread to keep a running list on who is going to do the Rose City 250 on April 4th. Mike and I will be at Beav Honda at about 630am, we'll hold a spot for everyone to park at beav honda. Everyone needs to be there gassed up and ready to go by 745am at the latest. Which means you reall should be there by 715-730a
Here is who I know is going.

Bear
Arch
Brad
David
Dennis
Gary
Big Bob

Hey Bear, what time are you going to Beaverton Honda on the 4th for the 250? We need to start nailing down some details about what time we all should meet. Do you think the parking lot right across the street from Beav Honda would be a good place to meet that morning?

Do we have to "Sign In". Can we just show up and ride?

You can just showup and ride, it is for a charity though so I'll probably sign up and throw in my 15bucks. I would at least bringa few cans of food though (a good way to get rid of the cream corn in the cubboard that no one likes)
Does that mean you 2 are coming Pi?

May....be! I don't mind donating... I just don't like the idea of showing up a o'dark thirty in the morning and waiting a couple of hours before things get going.

Pi, No waiting on this ride !!! +You can preregister, or register there as well, it has never taken more than 15 minutes to process through the system, Rose City MC does a great job with this ... Cup of coffee, two donuts and you can leave any time your group is ready!!! Just be prepared for a fast pace !!!!! Wahoooooo!!!
Pray for dry weather.... I'll be there regardless

Is 730am too early for us to meet at Beaverton Honda (Parking lot directly across the street) the morning of the 250?
Thats about the latest it could be to leave a few minutes for sign up.

Don't we set our clocks forward this Saturday? If so, it makes it even earlier for the southeners. If thats the case, don't forget to set your clocks guys

Hi All!

Great to hear that we'll have a mighty turnout from some mighty VTX's :D

I'll be there around 5AM or maybe a touch earlier to help with setup and getting coffee & donuts ready. As has been said, be sure to change your alarm clock to "Spring Forward" translated........one hour less sleep, so get to bed early Saturday night!

See you on 04-04-04

I'll do my best, maybe park sideways for a while??

BTW, you are given prize tickets for the cans of food that you bring to support Vernonia Food Bank and Beaverton Honda puts up a new helmet for the winning ticket! --- The more cans of food you bring, the more tickets you get. Better odds than the Oregon Lottery.

Hey Arch I think it is 6:30 after the time change. Our goal is to be up there by 7:15 - 7:30 to catch the later start times. Although I am just assuming that, lets get everyone to chime in here. It is a question that needs awnsered.

7:45 is fine Brad. As long as everyone sets there clock forward 1 hour before going to bed tonight and set there alarm for the exact time they want to get up they will be alright. Remember Spring forward in the Spring, Fall back in the Fall. It's time to Spring forward.

Hey All,

Because I need to be back in the early afternoon tomorrow I'm leaving Salem at 5:30am and taking the back way following Wallace Rd (221) out to Dayton and over to Beaverton on Hyw 99. Should be at BH by 6:30am.

At this time it's just Ric and I. We'll meet the rest of you at the check in or at one of the checkpoints along the way!

Ride safe!
Arch
