..I am plannig to ride there this Sunday Nov 6. I ride a Silver VTX 1800 plain. What's the best time to arrive there?
Does anybody know anything about Snake Road? Is it a safe ride? I heard a guy talking about it and I will like to hear a second opinion. I think it's located north of I-75 leading to Big Cypress Reservation. Thanks once again.

At Holiday Park the bikes come and go but I think I have seen the most bikes the on Sundays around 10AM.
I have done Snake Road quite a few times and very rarely do you see cars or people. Even when you are in the area where the houses and buildings are you rarely see anyone. Almost has a ghost town look sometimes.

What Hal said. Snake road is one of the safest roads down here because of its remoteness. Except for the occasional crazy in a Huge Hummer that likes to run around at 100mph down the road and pass on curves, its pretty plain.
Nice enough area though. I think most of us have made that trip a dozen times or more.
Make the ride but go with someone, it's more fun that way.
