By the end of last year the bike was starting to develop the decel wobble. Might be I need replace my tires . I keep a watch on my tire pressure and usually run with a 38/40 level front/rear. From what I read on the big board this might be a good thing to do. Anybody up here interested in making the swap. I am not a wrench and could use some help. I will see if I can rent the right tools from someone on the big board if no one around here has them.

I'd offer to help, but it's way out of my league, used to do them on pedal bikes, but not on an X. Good luck with it, you mentioned tires, is there any noticeable cupping on them? My wifes Sabre had a wobble, but found out it was the pressure of the tires that did it, but you've got that covered.

Are talking about the wheel bearings? If so I just replaced the rears on my friends Valkyrie. I have the front and rear set for mine that I am ready to do also. If that is what you are looking to do I can help with that. PM me.

I do have the shop manual. I also own an auto repair shop and have tools to do most any job. I had a ridley down to the frame over the winter so I have had the tripple tree apart. I am willing to tackle it if you are. I am located up near Newburyport.

Thanks for the offer As you can tell from this thread I have been wanting to do this for a while. I need to order the parts I need and once I have them maybe we can setup a time when you have a few spare hours. I will send you a PM once I get the parts.
