Yesterday i spent about 200 miles on the Natchez trace. I would Highly sugest it to anyone who has the time. It is a Real nice road to ride, especially since there isnt any commercial vechiles alowed. It is a two lane highway with a 50 MPH speed limit (STRICTLY ENFORCED!!) There are all kinds of neat little historic places to stop at along the way too.

I have heard from some other riders how nice that ride really is. they say spend a Saturday riding, stay over night and finish riding Sunday. Is it that long of a ride?

yeah it could take that long to ride the trace. The entire road is about 450 miles long. With a speed limit of 50 MPH i would take a while. Also there are about 80 stops along the way of old historic places and cool rest areas. I forget the name of the organization, but there is one that if you ride the trace and take pictures of your bike and your self at certain check points (proving that you were there) They will send you a patch or a pin or something for completeing the trace.
Here is the web site for the trace http://www.nps.gov/natr/
