Hello Iowa-Man its cold

I just returned home last night. We flew into Cedar Rapids on Thursday and there was snow on the ground and dang cold. Hung out there and went down to North English on Friday afternoon to visit grandma. Back to Cedar Rapids that evening for dinner and drinks with family. Saturday went to Grinnell for a wedding reception and party. Went back on Sunday and visited with grannie again and to put flowers on my moms, grampas, and a cousins grave. Had to fly out last night to come back to Washington. Trying to talk the wife into riding back next summer for family reunion. All my family is from there. Maybe next time I can hook up with some X riders back there.

PS: If ya'll can say a prayer for my cousin Jake, he's from Sigourney and was shot in Iraq early last week. He's in San Diego at Balboa NAVHOSP for more sugeries and recovery.

Let us know , It would be fun to hook up and do some riding. We will say a prayer as we too are having a hard time this holiday season. My oldest is leaving for Iraq on Sun and we are headed down to Fort Campbell this weekend to spend some time with him and his wife. They are also expecting in Jan. Dave
