Meetin on the Parkway....April 24

Idea #1 Meet In Hot Springs 9-10am Saturday April 24th...Leave Hot Springs heading west to Mena...From there---travel up the mighty Talimena Parkway...(This 54 mile scenic byway stretches across the crests of the Quachita Mountains ending in Talihena Oklahoma..It would be cool to meet the Oklahoma X-riders up on the Parkway and all eat lunch up at the Lodge. I've seen this lodge surrounded by bikes and it's sweet...After lunch there are several intresting ways back to Hot Springs or those who wish to head home could do so..Others that wish to head into Hot Springs for the evening could also follow where we could do the downtown Hotsprings Saturday night thing..Some nice blues/rocks clubs downtown..I could possibly get those who want to spend the evning on Lake Hamilton a special rate at one of the Hotels I work at....Sound off bro's. If this sounds like a plan I will announce it on Main page and contact Oklahoma X-ers.....peace

Sounds cool. We love that ride, we do it five or six times a year. Great senery and twisties. Keep us posted.

Well, I knew it would happen, Kdog, on that date the Wild Hog Music Fest in West Helena is going on and I have already committed to that with the club I belong to. That is a great ride, made it last year and will surely do it again before the year is out.

It Looks Like I will be leaving Hot Springs around 8:00am to 9:ooam headed North on 7 to meet the northern riders at the quick stop in Ola...Ola is south of Russelville(sp) where we will meet up with our northern bros...From there we will head down hwy 28 towards Mena...Thats a fun ride in itself...I guess the idea is to get around the Mena Talimena area in the noon time.....Please watch this message board closely as others check in and we nail down the timing thing better....Really glad you are joining us......kevin

I'm on the ark/okla border, just outside of Fort Smith. If I can get a couple other guys together, I'd like to meet you guys there. If any Okies are readn this..let me know, we can talk about where to meet and when.
