I'll tell ya mine.

Been looking and trying to get a good deal on a high mega pixel digi. camera, with a slim profile. Wanted a tough little camera to haul around on the bike with me.

Found one three weeks ago on an auction site, placed my bid. Was not online at time of the closing, lost by $2.00. :( Found other cameras during the past weeks, placed my bids. This time watched them like a hawk! Bidding went higher than I planned to spend. :( Christmas eve. found 4 cameras that I liked, placed bids on them since I've been trying to get one for several weeks now and lost each time.

Good news is I won the one I wanted on X'mas eve! :D Went ahead an bought extras for it (memory card, batt. charger, etc.) from the seller. Today I get an "Auction Ended" notice that I've won one of the other digi. cameras that I bid on.

Just paid for the second camera.  If I'd of taken the same $$$ spent on the two digi. cams, plus accesories and bought the camera I really wanted at the store it would of been about the same amount.

I got a good deal on the first and second cameras since I was the only one online X'mas eve to bid on it. I guess my daughter is going to get the second camera for a late gift. She was hitting me hard for one when her cousin got a cam. She should be surprised

Have a great year and be safe out there!!!

We went to the in-laws for Christmas lunch.

We cooked chicken and baked a ham.

I put what I thought was the ham in the car. Turned out to be the pound cake.

Guess what? No one in our family had ham for lunch, only chicken.

Thank goodness there was plenty.

Fortunately for us, everything went pretty smooth here :D ....and was a pleasant experience with my girfriend's kids of 21 and 18, mine of 14 and 11, and our little darling (2 yrs old)!! ........of course I spent way too much money playing Santa for everyone but, what else is new. We had fun playing board games and eating good food. I can be quite the playmate after a few Jack and cokes  I miss my parents and brothers(and families) up in Pittsburgh but, plan on visiting this summer.
