Hi all,
I am a member of the AZ VTX Riders and my family and I are thinking about relocating to the Lewiston area. Are their ANY riders in that area. It seems the postings on this site are pretty slim and it appears that a lot of the Idaho riders ride with "other" groups. I'd love to visit with anyone in the Lewiston/Clarkston area. Thanks guys and I hope to be riding with some of you in the near future.

Ok - I am really in Post Falls. I always tell people Coeur d'Alene because people know where that is, but have never heard of Post Falls.
Hope to see you "out and about" sometime. You ever go to the Hot Rod cafe for their Thursday night "Bike Night"?

Well, I'm actually in Rathdrum - but use Coeur d'Alene for the same reason. It's all just about one big place now anyway. Never have been to Hot Rod cafe on Thursday night - didn't know they had bike night. I'll have to check that out sometime.

Thanks for the posts guys. How far is Coeur d'Alene from Lewiston?
Its my understanding that Lewiston has year round golf....which means year round riding....any truth to this rumor?

Lewiston does stay warmer than the rest of the state - but not sure about year-round riding.
Coeur d'Alene is about 2 hours north of Lewiston - a nice ride if they are not doing construction on the rode.
There are a lot of very nice rides to do around here - Lolo Pass, Coeur d'Alene Lake, Thompson Pass, and many more. We are just a few hours from Glacier National Park, which is awesome in July and August!
When you get moved up, let us know - maybe we can meetup somewhere.

Hi all. We're located in Clarkston, WA, which is just across the river from Lewiston. Not much for snow in this valley, but it's a little cool for riding from mid-October to Mid-March. Lots of nice places to ride in the area, as mentioned before. Down Rattlesnake Grade to Wallowa Lake, which we're actually planning to ride 5/6/06.
Don't know if you've moved to Lewiston, or if you're still just thinking about it, but if you're here, let us know. Maybe we can hook up and ride together.

We just got back from Lewiston about two week ago (looking to buy some property). We loved the area and hope to move as soon as we sell our home in Arizona. In the week we were there I didn't see a lot of bikes but then again it did rain. Our plans are to be in Idaho by the end of the summer and my wife and I are looking forward to doing a lot of riding.
So...Yes we will have to hook up and ride....like the wind!
