Finnaly, after all this time. It's Painted, this 1300 engine thingy. Ain't pulled the tape yet( tomorrow) but I'm anxious to see her nekked. Mmmmm satin black, kinda like a lady in a black slinky ....whoa son...wait....We ain't goin there

The head cover ougt to be torqued back on tomorrow when I pull the tape.That'll close that part. The stealer in Clarksville wanted more than 25 dollare for 6 copper washers that go under the head cover nuts. Guess what I told him. I said "you'll hafta hold a gun to my head to rape me like that"
The damn sealant was over 15 dollars for a 1.9 Oz tube..........

Be careful what bolts ya take out and learn from my experience

Maybe next week I'll get the engine back on the frame...If I remember where all those parts and wires and tubes go. Why didn't I take pictures?

I have to agree with CDVTX, pictures are worth a 1000 words. I do not have much room to talk about posting pictures, I suck at it.
Congrats on getting the paint on and good luck getting her running again.
I hope to finish painting this weekend if I can get the garage heated up.

I told him the other night All of those parts goes in the hole between the front tire and rear tire :lol: and all of the left overs goes in one of those holes in 65 :lol:
