Hi all. Yank here currently living in Wisconsin USA. My wife and I are preparing to move back (was married and lived there for 2 years) to Oz in Late may and of course I am bringing my VTX with me. Good to see the representation in there! Winter here and I can't wait til I can ride all year round. Being from Wisconsin I can handle the "cool" winter riding.

I just wanted to check in and say hello. Planning to make Jamberoo home. (Inlaws own the pub there) :D Looks like I better find a helmet - no law in Wisconsin and The only one I have is from my young "crotch rocket" days. Can't wait to take the riding test over there. :lol:

G'day Chadman,

I had to do a search for Jamberoo - never heard of it. Looks like it is located in amongst some really good riding country just south of Sydney - I rode from Thredbo down to Bega then up to Batemans Bay in late November but didn't get that far north on the coast.

We are having our first ride together for members from this board in Brisbane on the 21st January - taken a while but nearly there!! Once you have landed and are riding we might even plan a trip down to meet up.

Keep us posted on your move.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. Sounds like you have a heck of a ride coming on the 21st. Sounds like fun. It would be good to get a chance to meet some fellow Xers and any others for that matter. Still undecided about the type of new Helmet - half or full. Maybe have both just to be safe. The bike should be a bit different that what appears now. Some new chrome and the bags are off at the moment. Also the sissy bar/back rest is off.

Anyway. I'll keep in touch - Ride safe and have fun.

Go the Fullface. I have both but fro a safety perspective Full is better.

I picked up a good one Lazer off ebay for just over $100aud and am very happy with it. :)
