Alls quiet on the Indyucky front!

Time to kickstart this board and wake y'all up.

Strange Winter, eh? It got up to 60 here this week. So went riding with VTProf (Virginia Tech Prof) on Thursday. Rode 125 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway along some nice curvy roads. It rained the day before so had to contend with some wet curves and the usual road grit. Back end broke loose on one turn while slowing from 70 to 25. Met the prof at "Tuggles Gap". Strange name I know. Turns out that passes thru the mountains are called "Gaps". Figures.

Couple other bikers pulled in and we chatted a while. Then we all rode thru the hills to Christiansburg and then Blacksburg. Prof showed me the campus there, nice. Turns out he did graduate work at IU Bloomington. All told, I did about 300 miles. Uneventful ride home until a car tried to share my lane for merging traffic. Guess my pipes aren't loud enuff!

Gonna head back to Illinois this next week. I'll be off the boards while there, so you guys stay safe.

2 or 3 years ago me and my wife rode the skyline drive and
the blue ridge parkway. The skyline drive was great. Soon
as we started the blue ridge it started raining. It was coming
down so hard you couldnt see. we got to Tuggles Gap and
stoped. Two days later it was still raining. We were going stir
crazy so we headed on down the road. We basicly had rain
the rest of the trip and all the way home. When it rains it really
rains.

Iam looking at part after part,changin this to that and &%^% wont work !and goin off in a new area....then erase and start over. So if I go to the wide tire kit and put this on here....&^%$#!! and start over.But actually its kinda fun.

I am awake, but Mother Nature is keeping us from riding. Sounds like you have had some nice riding weather.

When are you going to get a chance to ride with us again?
