Another biker went down

Just want everyone to be careful. I went down on my bike yesterday in Bogalusa. Just glad I'm around to talk about it today. On my way to work a car backed out into the street and I clipped the rear quarter panel and bumper. I was thrown over the windshield and landed in a soft ditch (from all the rain Monday). Just got a busted bottom lip and a sore neck and shoulder.

Makes you think. Since they can't see us coming, maybe with louder pipes they can hear us coming. Glad you're OK. Bikes can be fixed quickly, sometimes we can't be.

COMING HOME FROM THE PIT SOP LAST NIGHT ON VETERANS Blvd A FRIEND OF MINE AND MYSELF WERE RIDING IN THE LEFT LANE WHEN AT GREEN ACRES & Vetreans . AN EXPEDITION STARTED TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN INTO OUR LANEto go AGAINST !!!! TRAFFIC!!!!! If not for laying on the horns and reving the pipes quick enough he would have driven right into us. Just plain Morons out there that don't even think about their actions.

drm60, Glad your not hurt badly. I really hate when stupid people are allowed to breed. I installed the headlight modulator on my X some time back, and whenever I am on a two lane or just think that some one isn't paying attention, I flip the switch. I am amazed at reactions that I get... :shock: In short it looks like, Where the He77 did he come from? :oops:
