I was wondering if you all had suggestions for a motel or two in the Marathon area? I'm actually am interested in any chains or locals that cater to cycles.

Can't really help you with any specific place to stay but I'd make sure you have reservations ahead of time. You never know what's going on down there and things can get a little pricey at the last minute. Five us rode to Key West last weekend, lots of people in Marathon (Seafood festival). Have a great ride.
