Woke up this morning to find a sunny day. So I called my workers told em to take the day off and mounted up. Left Columbia MD. 12:00 PM made Phily by 2:00 PM Grabbed a bite to eat on 7th street and walked over to the Independence Hall Park and found the stamp in the book store.
Parking was difficult to find but the weather was perfect for a mid day stroll. I was hoping to pick up a couple other Stamps while I was in the area but failing light conditions and the memory of the tempature riding throught the Harbor tunnel prompted my quick departure from the city of brotherly love. Made it back home by 5:00 PM I met up with a couple different large groups one at the Delaware Marlyland line no waves from the lot of em...lol. Second group was just outside of Philly every last one took the time to wave guess there just a nicer lot north of the MD / PA Line :). I will be returning to PA in the next couple weeks to grab a second Stamp from Valley Forge or Gettysburg or both if you are in that area and have some side trip sugestions please leave a note. I would love to hear from you .
