Has anybody got their insurance bill for the new year? I got mine the other day and it went down almost half. I called my agent and he told me the new rates for bikes is discounted based on how long you have had your MC license. It's about time we got a break.

I just got rid of my ins. company < State Farm> and hooked up with Progressive. I was paying 632 a year full coverage on my '05 C and wanted to add my 86 Yammi XJ700X, just liability, they wanted $335 q year for that! thats almost $1000 a year for 2 bikes, i dnt pay much more for coverage on 2 cars for petes sakes.

Progressive is saving me $527 a year, with better coverage, and road side assistance/towing on the VTX, $1000 add-ons and chrome goodie coverage and liability on the Yammi.. I'm pleased!

that doesn't help the people in MA. Progressive doesn't insure in MA, but only in CT. unfortunately we are stuck with the rates we have.

Havn't got the new rates but last year I paid roughly $1200 for FULL coverage before they added in my license step...then it was closer to $1700.

After my license suspension, I suspect I'll be paying over $2000 a year for full coverage like I did have.

But its still cheaper than insuring my 97' camry.

God I hate massachusetts.
