Well, I ordered a few lil bits of chrome to sparkle up the ol' ride. I figure if I can't ride it right now I can still wrench on it. These Wisconsin winters suck. Can't wait until I get over there in June. Heck, I'll ride all winter as long as it isn't pouring.

Anyway I ordered a cool looking rack that goes in place of the rear seat. Molded around the fender. Should be very cool. Also a Chrome radiator cover with flames. THen I had to get the chrome horn cover so the thing wouldn't stick out over the radiator cover. What else..... oh yeah New grips, flames on those, too. And a chrome oil dip stick.

Now I just have to wait for them to arrive.

The bike's gonna look pretty shmacko when you land here - once you have everything fitted make sure you post some pix so we can check it out.

I really don't know how I would survive if I couldn't ride all year long. The winter in Brisbane is the best time of year to ride as it is the "dry" part of the year - beautiful clear days and coldish nights. You should be able to ride pretty well all year as well - at least it won't snow where your heading.

Well, I received the items I ordered. Still have one other thing to order. The radiator grill was from a different company and I have not taken the time to order it. I did get an Icon Mainframe helmet. Snell approved and have heard a few good things about them. Got the full face to be safe. I will most likely get a half helmet too just for those short trips and hot days.

Anyway. The bike is actually at another location being stored. I hope to get down there in the next week or 2. I can fire up the garage heater and get some of the things on. I'll try to get a few pics and post them. She won't have too much 'Bling', but it will be a bit customized.

I'll keep ya posted
