Im up north but still a long way north from Yorkshire .
If you get the chance get your self to the Pro Custom bike show its in Newark(June ) which i think is just south of Doncaster .Its a great show as i went to the Doncaster one last year loads of good customs and plenty of vendors .Mainly Hardlys but what the heck just show up on your x and make them jealous.
My pal is looking for an 04 1800c but they are very scarce and the stealers want top cash even at this time of year .Did you get yours private or from a dealer .
Anyhow welcome to the best vtx site on the planet .
Later

Hi duffy I'm in the northern area in middlesbrough, I picked my bike (1800) up a year ago from DK its an import but much cheaper than offical bikes, not that there was any offical ones at the time. I'm hoping for some better wheather in march so we might meet up some time.
cheers :D :D

I just got my 2003 VTX1800C in January and although not good riding weather in Indiana at that time, have been able to ride some in the past few weeks. Spent 10 years in England with the US Forces 1980 to 1990 at RAF Mildenhall, home of the Air Fete. Know you will enjoy the ride there. Miss the island lots and maybe some day will be able to make it back to visit friends there. Enjoy the ride and the turns of the road. Just make sure you keep the tires on the tarmac. That's pavement for the US folk.
